A free physical exam for our winter sports athletes who need one will be offered by our sports medicine provider, Geisinger, on Thursday, October 30 beginning at 3:30 PM at their Orthopedic Clinic in Wilkes-Barre.  If an athlete had an exam for a fall sport, they do not need another one, but they must go into their BigTeams account and re-certify for the winter season.  Physicals exams are required for all athletes in order to play a sport at GNA, but they must be registered online for their sport prior to obtaining this exam.  Click on “Athletic Registration” on the top of the home page to sign up.  This is one option to obtain a physical exam.  Exams may also be obtained from a family doctor or urgent care, but a physician-signed Section 6 form must be submitted to the athletic department prior to participation.  That form may be downloaded from the "Files and Links" section near the top of this page or picked up at the athletic office.
