On Saturday, May 16, the Greater Nanticoke Area Athletic Recognition Committee will conduct their annual Wall of Fame induction ceremony.  Seventeen former athletes and coaches from the City of Nanticoke, Newport, Conyngham and Plymouth Townships, which includes Nanticoke, Newport, Harter, John S. Fine, and Greater Nanticoke Area High Schools, will be inducted as part of the Class of 2026.  

 

The induction ceremony and plaque unveiling will take place at 12:00 PM in the auditorium of the Nanticoke Area High School.  The public is invited to attend the induction ceremony and introduction at the game. 

The GNA Wall of Fame is an ongoing endeavor of the Greater Nanticoke Area Athletic Recognition Committee, a group of graduates formed in 2014, whose mission is to recognize the accomplishments of the past and inspire present and future GNA athletes to continue that excellence.  The inaugural Wall of Fame ceremony was held in 2020 and new classes are inducted annually.
