The 2016 Trojans will feature a host of senior talent as they do battle in the newly aligned WVC Division 2.  Head coach Mark Matusek’s squad returns 9 letter winners from last year’s roster and will rely heavily on the leadership of its 11-man senior class to continue the success they have enjoyed the last 4 seasons.

Returning to the pitch this season for the Trojans will be a trio of senior captains in Brian Kotz (2015 All-WVC), Aaron Kreitzer, and Cody Piestrak. Also returning will be seniors Zack Cardone, Alec Divers, Rich Wiaterowski, Luke Butczynski,  Jhon Tenelema, and sophomore Nate Kreitzer.  Joining these returning players will be senior exchange students, Alessio Mazzalupi (Italy) and Gustav Gothenby (Sweden), senior Matt Wojciechowski, juniors Justin Ostopick and Evan Stecco, sophomore Trahjan Krupinski, and freshmen Adam Eckhart, Ricky Klepadlo, Isaiah Johnson, and Andy Kozlofski.

Also looking to see action for the Trojans will be juniors Aaron Miller and Chris Thomas, sophomores Christian Mavus, Garrett Dzugan, Isaac Ali, and William Kanjorski, as well as freshmen Collin Brown, Tyler Rushton, and Michael Toporcer.

The Trojans open their 2016 campaign on Saturday, September 3^rd at 11:00AM when they travel to Benton for a non-league match with the Tigers.  Wyoming Valley Conference play opens with a 7:00PM kickoff on Tuesday, September 6^th at Wyoming Seminary. (JV match will begin at 5:30PM) The Trojans then return back to Nanticoke for their home opener against GAR on Thursday, September 8^th with a 4:15PM kickoff.
